1) Increased frequency and intensity of precipitation (rainfall) events because of higher concentration of water vapor.
2) There might also be an increase in water runoff into rivers, streams and other bodies of water.
3) Because of warm temperature, there will be increased drying of land areas in different parts of the world.

Answer:

Global warming is an effect on our planet that is caused by carbon dioxide being trapped in our atmosphere. When the carbon dioxide is trapped, it is bouncing off the bottom layer of the clouds. Some escapes into outer space, but most of it stays. We cause global warming, by using vehicles, making asphalt, burning fossil fuels, and many more.

<u>An effect of global warming is our poles oceans are melting. When our polar caps melt most of the way, we will experience a lot of flooding for many coastal cities. We will also experience extreme weather, like stronger hurricanes, larger thunderstorms, and larger areas effected by other natural disasters.</u>

One thing we can do to stop or slow down these effects is to use vehicles less (or make better vehicles for the environment), stop burning fossil fuels, and make a world-wide law to prevent certain things from commencing. Nuclear bombs are also a problem to global warming. We will hopefully never reach that problem.

<em>If global warming were to continue</em><u><em>,</em></u><em> we would be in a </em><u><em>world of hurt</em></u><em>, figuratively and literally. All of our coastal cities would be flooded, we would be devastated by horrible natural disasters, and our would would become slowly toxic. Also, our Earth would get unbearably hot, making most places unlivable, and normally freezing places, like Siberia, would become the last habitable places to live.</em>

Sorry if this explanation is too long. I am just very good at answering this question.

A quantity of a gas has an absolute pressure of 400 kPa and an absolute temperature of 110 degrees kelvin. When the temperature
VMariaS [17]

Answer:  The new pressure of the gas is (A) 854.46 kPa.

The pressure of a given mass of gas at the absolute temperature 110 degrees K is 400 kPa.

The temperature is raised to 235 degrees K  with constant volume.

Therefore,

Initial pressure P_{1}=400kPa

Initial temperature T_{1}=110K

Final temperature T_{2}=235K

Final pressureP_{2}=?

According to pressure law of gas,

\frac{P_{1} }{T_{1} }=\frac{P_{2} }{T_{2} }     ( at constant volume)P_{2}=\frac{P_{1}T_{2} }{T_{1} }

P_{2}=\frac{400X235}{110}

P_{2}=854.46kPa

Thus, the required new pressure of the gas is 854.46 kPa.

algol [13]

Answer:

Principles of Geology

Explanation:

J. Henslow gifted Darwin the first volume of Principles of Geology, written by Charles Lyell. The book explains about the old age of the earth. Accordingly, the slow rate of several geological processes suggests that the earth is very old.

Darwin read the book as the ship was crossing the Atlantic and learned about geological processes occurring over the millions of years. For example, he learned that the earth's surface was not formed by some catastrophic event.

In his book, Lyell explained the slow and gradual geological processes like erosion gave rise to the vast landscapes present on the earth's surface.

Darwin compared the time taken by geological processes to form the earth's surface and reasoned if these millions of years were enough to support the evolution of species.

Reil [10]
If a woman takes HIV medicines during pregnancy and childbirth and her baby receives HIV medicines for 4 to 6 weeks after birth, the risk of transmitting HIV can be lowered to 2% or less. Most HIV medicines are safe to use during pregnancy, and don't increase the risk of birth defects.

In general, the infected mother should simply stay healthy and intake HIV medicines while she is pregnant.
