Plato sample answer;

I picked hermit crabs because I had one as a pet. Hermit crabs need to live near water because their offspring start life in the water. These offspring grow and develop in water to become land crabs. They also need a wide variety of shells around because they carry one on their back for shelter and protection. As they grow, they need access to larger shells. Food is another resource that hermit crabs need. The species I owned survived on a primarily fruit-based diet.

Respiration involves the release of energy due to the breakdown of large polymers. What type of a reaction is respiration?
forsale [732]
Respiration is an exergonic reaction. An exergonic reaction is one in which energy is released, and as a result the products of this reaction will have less energy than the original products. Cellular respiration can also be referred to as a catabolic pathway, which means bigger molecules get broken down into smaller molecules and therefore there is extra energy at the end of the reaction.

Thepotemich [5.8K]
An animal body plan that is triploblastic and coelomate has three main layers of tissue during development.
The germ layers are tissue layers which develop early in embryonic life, through the process of gastrulation. During gastrulation, a hollow cluster of cells-blastula reorganizes into two primary germ layers: an inner layer- endoderm, and an outer layer, - ectoderm which interact to produce a third germ layer - mesoderm. Together, the three germ layers will give rise to every organ in the body. For example, ectoderm will form skin, endoderm will form digestive tract and mesoderm will be involved in the formation of visceral organs like the stomach.

A hybrid _____.
Serhud [2]

Answer: is heterozygous

Explanation: A hybrid is heterozygous which means that it has one dominant gene and one recessive gene. A dominant gene is a type of gene which has the ability to express itself phenotypically either in a homozygous or a heterozygous state. A dominant gene masks the effect of a recessive gene. A recessive gene is a type of gene that lacks the ability to express itself in a heterozygous state. It can only express itself outwardly in a homozygous state. It's effect is masked by the dominant gene is a heterozygous state.
