30 is a multiple of 5

Further explanation:

A multiple is a number that divides the given number completely.

We have to find the multiple of 5 from given numbers.

For this purpose we have to write multiples of 5 first,

Multiples of 5 are:

5,10,15,2,25,30,35,40,45,50,55,60,65,70

We can see that out of all given numbers only 30 is a multiple of 5.

Similarly we can divide each number by 5, the numbers which are completely divided by 5 are multiples of 5

So,

66/5 =13.2

30/5 =6

29/5= 5.8

1/5= 0.2

Only 30 is fully divided by 5 so 30 is a multiple of 5

HELP!!!In the expression 100 a/b, if a is greater than b, which statements are true? b ≠ 0. Select all that apply.
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

\large\boxed{\text{The expression is equal to}\ \sqrt[b]{100^a}}\\\boxed{\text{The expression is greater than 100}}

Step-by-step explanation:

a^\frac{m}{n}=\sqrt[n]{a^m}\\\\\text{True statement:}\\\\100^\frac{a}{b}=\sqrt[b]{100^a}\\\\a>b\to\dfrac{a}{b}>1\to\dfrac{a}{b}=1\dfrac{a-b}{b}\\\\100^\frac{a}{b}=100^{1\frac{a-b}{b}}=100^{1+\frac{a-b}{b}}=100^1\cdot100^\frac{a-b}{b}=100\sqrt[b]{100^{a-b}}\\\\a>b\to a-b>0\to100^{a-b}>1\\\\\text{Therefore}\ 100\sqrt[b]{100^{a-b}}>100

Find the length of the hypotenuse
denpristay [2]

Answer: The answer is “10cm”

Step-by-step explanation: To get to this answer we first need to know the formula for find the hypotenuse which is a^2 + b^2 = c^2. A and B are the two sides in this case a and b are 8 cm and 6 cm. Then you plug in the values into the equation, it looks like this 8^2 + 6^ = c^2 once you solve you get 64 + 36 = c. When you add 64 and 36 you get 100 but their is one more step. You must find the square root of 100 which is 10. So your answer for the hypotenuse is “10cm”
