Well, you would need to do 195x4 and you would get 780, I believe. So 780 divided by 4 is 195.

4÷x=195
4=195x
x=4÷195
x=0.0205128205
Round it to what it asks you to round.

This question is weird, because there is a long decimal as an answer. If the question was "What number is divided by 4 and equal to 195?" then it would be a whole number (780) but this question asks for a different answer.

Hope this helped.

Which ofnthe following shows the correct use of distributive property when solving 1/3(33-x)=135,2
madam [21]

Answer: OPTION C.

Step-by-step explanation:

The missing options are:

A. (33 - x) = \frac{1}{3} * 135.2\\\\B. (\frac{1}{3} *33) - \frac{1}{3} x = \frac{1}{3} * 135.2\\\\C.(\frac{1}{3}  * 33) - \frac{1}{3} x = 135.2\\\\D. (\frac{1}{3}  * 33) + \frac{1}{3} x = 135.2

In order to solve this exercise you need to remember the following:

1. The Distributive property states that:

a(b+c)=ab+ac\\\\a(b-c)=ab-ac

2. The multiplication of signs:

(+)(+)=+\\(-)(-)=+\\(-)(+)=-\\(+)(-)=-

In this case the exercise gives you the following equation:

\frac{1}{3}(33-x)=135.2

Since you need to solve for the variable "x" in order to  find its value, the first  step you must apply in the in the procedure is to eliminate the parentheses applying the Distributive property.

Then, you must multiply everyting inside the parentheses by \frac{1}{3}.

Therefore,based on the explanation, you know that the correct use of the Distributive property is:

\frac{1}{3}*33-\frac{1}{3}x=135.2

Albert drew a scale drawing of a county park. The scale he used was 7 inches : 4 yards. The actual width of the picnic area is 6
Elenna [48]

I think its like you divide 64 by 4. This will tell you how many sets of the 4 yards you have which is important to know since each 4 yards equals 7 inches. 64 divided by 4 is 16. Then multiple 16 by 7 since there's 16 sets of 4 and each set is 7 inches. This will come to a total of 112 inches.

I hope this helps, sorry if its wrong I haven't done this in a while, but I'm pretty sure its correct
