To find the value of x, we will have to set the perimeters equal.
(2x+4)*4 would be P for the square and (2x+8)*3 would be P for the triangle.
We have to set these equal and solve for x.
(2x+4)*4=(2x+8)*3
8X+16=6x+24
-6x  -16   -6x -16
2x=8
x=4
Now we plug x=4 in for each perimeter.
Square: 2(4)+5=13
Triangle: 2(4)+8=16

A person charges $100 to a credit card with a 24% nominal annual interest rate. Assuming no other charges or payments are made,
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

im assuming its daily

Step-by-step explanation:

If you have a credit card with a 24% APR, that's the rate you're charged over 12 months, which comes out to 2% per month. Since months vary in length, credit cards break down APR even further into a daily periodic rate (DPR). It's the APR divided by 365, which would be 0.065% per day for a card with 24% APR. Hope this helps. :D

In a basketball game, Tatiana made 23 baskets. Each of the baskets was worth either 2 or 3 points, and Tatiana scored a total of
vekshin1

X+y=23 (x and y added equal the number of baskets made)

2x+3y=53 (since each basket is worth a certain amount of points, x and y must be multiplied by their amount of baskets and added together to get the total number of points)

Hope this helps!
