32. P = V * I

P = 230 * 4 = 920 w

In short, Your Answer would be: 920 w

33. I = P/V

I = 48/12 = 4 A

In short, Your Answer would be: 4 Ampere

34. Now, for this part you've given Voltage & Power, and you need to calculate Current & Resistance, so you could apply two equations here:

(i) For finding Current  = P/V
(ii) For resistance = V²/P

So, Current for Bulb of Study Lamp = 60/230 = 0.260 A
Resistance of Bulb of Study Lamp = 230²/60 = 881.67 Ohm

In similar manner, substitute the known values (Power & Voltage) in each case, you'll have your answers!

35. We know, P = V²/R
P = 230²/48
P = 1102.08 w

Hope this helps!

34.
Current for Bulb of Study Lamp = 60/230 = 0.260 A
Resistance of Bulb of Study Lamp = 230²/60 = 881.67 Ohm

Current for TV = 80/230 =
Resistance of TV = 230²/80 =

Current for toaster = 1200/230 =
Resistance of toaster = 230²/1200 =

2kW = 2000W
Current for heater = 2000/230 =
Resistance of heater = 230²/2000 =

Current for shower = 3000/230 =
Resistance of shower = 230²/3000 =

Answer: A river delta is a landform created by deposition of sediment that is carried by a river as the flow leaves its mouth and enters slower-moving or stagnant water. This occurs when a river enters an ocean, sea, estuary, lake, reservoir, or (more rarely) another river that cannot carry away the supplied sediment. The size and shape of a delta is controlled by the balance between watershed processes that supply sediment.

A 75 kg ball carrier is running to the right at 6.5 m/s. An 80 kg defender is chasing the ball carrier running at 7.0 m/s. The d
Sophie [7]

Answer:

3,544.375Joules

Explanation:

Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by a body by virtue of its motion, It is expressed as;

Kinetic energy = 1/2mv²

m is the mass of the body

v is the velocity

For the ball carrier;

KE = 1/2(75)(6.5)²

KE = 3168.75/2

KE = 1584.375Joules

For the defender;

KE = 1/2(80)(7)²

KE = 3920/2

KE = 1960Joules

The kinetic energy of the ball carrier/defender system BEFORE the tackle = KE for the carrier + KE for the defender

kinetic energy of the ball carrier/defender system BEFORE the tackle= 1584.375+1960 = 3,544.375Joules

Is there a definite end to our atmosphere?
Irina18 [472]
There is no definite end to earths atmosphere, but technically the border between the outer space and earth gets thinner as you move up from the earths surface. The Karman line is the closest definition there is which describes the end of the earth's atmosphere, it is 100 km above earth's sea level at approximately 1.56 % of total earth's radius. This describes the boundary between the outer space and the atmosphere.

Does water expand more as the temperature drops even more below 0 deg? I am worried about the coolant in my rad. as the temp.is
alex41 [277]
Water is, indeed, an exception. Normally when temperature drops, material shrinks. Water doesn't, water expands instead.

What is convectional current?.... .
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

Convection is the transfer of heat from one place to another along with the motion of the object's particles. Water is a poor conductor. However, when the bottom water is heated, it turns out that the top water is also hot. This means that there is another way of transferring heat to the water, namely convection.
