We do this the same way like the previous question

The large cylinder's volume

V = $\pi$r²h
40,635 = $\pi$r²(18)
$\frac{40635}{18} = \pi r^2$
2257.5 = $\pi$r²
$\frac{2257.5}{ \pi }$ = r²
r = $\sqrt{ \frac{2257.5}{ \pi } }$
r = 26.8 cm

The ratio from big cylinder to the small one is:
18 : 6
This means the big cylinder is 3 times bigger than the small cylinder.

$\frac{26.8}{3}$ = r
r = 8.9 cm (radius of small cylinder)

V (small cylinder) = $\pi$(8.9)²(6)  
                             = 1505 cm³

Your answer will be B) 1505 cm³
