We know that the sum of all angles in a triangle = 180°

Angle (A+B+C) = 180°

or

(3x°+13) + (x°-8) + x° = 180

5x° + 5 = 180°===> 5x° = 175° &  x =35°

The person that answered this is correct, they just didn't solve it all the way (I give tem a 4/5)  But yes, x = 35, now just solve and plug in x.  3 x 35 = 105

105 + 13 = 118 answer is 118

Now double check to make sure x is 35

3 x 35 + 13 = 118

35 - 8 = 27

x = 35

118 + 27 = 145

145 + 35 = 180

so x = 35

and your answer is m<A = 118

Hope this helped, and make sure to drop some thank yous and ratings in the other person's answer

You buy a new laptop for $300$300. The sales tax is 6%6%. What is the total cost for the laptop including the sales tax?
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

Cost Including tax would be $318

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Price of laptop = $300

Sales tax = 6% of price

To Find:

Cost with tax = ?

Solution:

Cost with tax = Price of laptop + Value of tax

We have to find the value of tax

Value of tax = 6% of Price

putting the value

Value of tax = 6 % * $300

                     =\frac{6}{100}*300

                     = $18

Now Cost with tax = Price of laptop + Value of tax

Putting in the value

Cost with tax = 300 + 18

                      = $318

So Cost Including tax would be $318
