£50=$50

so 1:4
add it up
1+4=5

so 5 total units
$50=5 units
divide by 5
$10=1 unit

so 1:4=10:10 times 4=10:40

the answer is 10:40

First,what you need to do is to add up these two numbers in the ratio,which gives you this:1+4=5.

Step 3 the result is 10
