Don't know how to type the symbole infront of the 50 so I will subsitute
£50=$50

so 1:4
add it up
1+4=5

so 5 total units
$50=5 units
divide by 5
$10=1 unit

so 1:4=10:10 times 4=10:40

the answer is 10:40

First,what you need to do is to add up these two numbers in the ratio,which gives you this:1+4=5.
Step 2 divide 50 with number 5
Step 3 the result is 10
Step 4 1:4=1·10:4·10
Step 5 1:4=10:40

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the 2 figures are similar then the ratios of corresponding sides are equal, that is

\frac{8}{x} = \frac{18}{6} ( cross- multiply )

18x = 48 ( divide both sides by 18 )

x = \frac{48}{18} = \frac{8}{3} = 2 \frac{2}{3}

Similarly

\frac{5}{y} = \frac{18}{6} ( cross- multiply )

18y = 30 ( divide both sides by 18 )

y = \frac{30}{18} = \frac{5}{3} = 1 \frac{2}{3}

Helppppppp pleaseeee again im sorry but i dont know any of itttttt.
Alchen [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

sqrt(5x)×(sqrt(8x²) - 2×sqrt(x)) =

sqrt(5x × 8x²) - 2×sqrt(5x × x) =

sqrt(40x) × x - 2x × sqrt(5) =

2x×sqrt(10x) - 2x×sqrt(5)

therefore, the last option is correct.
