Answer:

a) V = 187 s

b) d = 2024 m

Explanation:

Data

a(t) =t + 6

vo = 3

0≤t≤11

a) Find the velocity at that time

When the time = 11

a(11) = 11 + 6 = 17 m/s²

and a = v/t, so v = at

finally v = (17 m/s²) (11s)

v= 187 m/s

b) Find the distance traveled during the given time interval

Vtotal = Vfinal - v initial

v final = 187 m/s vinitial = 3 m/s

V total = 187 - 3 = 184 m/s

and Velocity = distance/time

then distance = velocity x time

so distance = 184 m/s x 11 s

distance = 2024 m

Difference between constant speed and average speed
Tresset [83]
If a body is traveling with constant speed , it means that it's distance is constantly increasing with time.

If it goes 5m in 3min , it will go 5m in next 3 min.

Average velocity is the total displacement divided by total time.

When the body travels 5m in 3 min and 25 m in next 3min , average velocity
=(25+5)/(3+3)
=30/6
=5m/min

What is the minimum force require to move a 5kg wooden crate on a wooden floor?
kolbaska11 [484]

You need to know the coefficient of static friction between a wooden object and a wooden surface. I'll denote it with µ. If you're given a specific value you should obviously use that.

By Newton's second law, the horizontal and vertical net forces are

• net horizontal:

∑ F = p - f = 0

• net vertical:

∑ F = n - w = 0

where

p = magnitude of the pushing force

f = mag. of friction

n = mag. of the normal force

w = weight of the crate

The second equation gives

n = w = (5 kg) (9.8 m/s²) = 49 N

Friction is proportional to the normal force by a factor of µ, so

f = µ (49 N) = 49µ N

To overcome static friction, the push has to exceed this in magnitude, so that

p > 49µ N

For instance, if p = 0.25, then p would need to greater than 12.25 N. (This example isn't particularly helpful, though, since both possibly correct options are larger than 12.25 N...)

who brought astronomy out of the dark ages by declaring: "finally we shall place the sun himself at the center of the universe.
solong [7]

Nicolaus Copernicus was the one who brought astronomy out of the dark ages.

In one of his books "On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Bodies", he published the renowned line which declares his theory.

Nicolaus Copernicus, A polish astronomer put forward the theory that the is th Sun one that rests in the middle or center of the Universe and the planet Earth revolves around it on its axis every day.which was considered to be called the Heliocentric system.
