Answer:

Planned ignorance

Explanation:

Ted knew all along that the class was tough and he would need to study harder in order to pass in it. Knowing the effects of ignoring how hard it is and still not working for it, he committed planned ignorance.

He ignored the class throughout the semester and in the end failed without being surprised, as if that is what he was expecting.

Thanks for asking

Answer:

Deliberate Ignorance.

Explanation:

Deliberate ignorance is a self-chosen path of ignorance instead of an imposed one by third part due to lack of knowledge or impartial information. It is a deliberate decision to avoid an answer even if the answer is easily available to them. They intentionally ignore the empirical evidences present before them because they are in contradiction to their personal belief. As per the question, Ted deliberately avoid attention in class and therefore got failed in the exam.

the motivation to eat is influenced by: question 9 options: 1) all of these factors are correct. 2) biological factors. 3) socia
MariettaO [177]

The motivation to eat is influenced by option 1.) all of these factors.

Motivation to eat comes from both homeostatic and non-homeostatic factors. Homeostatic refers to physical, chemical, and internal conditions of the human body. When the motivation of eating occurs due to signals sent by the brain, it is called homeostatic eating.

Homeostatic eating includes biological factors. On the other hand, non-homeostatic factors include the factors external to the body where eating is done for reasons other than biological. It includes psychological, social, and cultural factors which initiate the motivation to eat. For instance, stress can trigger the motivation to eat.
