Answer:

a specialized animal's inability to rapidly adapt to a changing environment

Explanation:

The polar bear is native to the areas around Arctic Circle. The polar bear are mostly found around the Arctic Ocean, the surrounding seas and the surrounding land masses.

The adverse effects of climate change are seen in each and every corner of our planet, but the danger to the polar bear in the recent years has become more apparent. The existence of these specialized animal is in great danger due to global warming.

The Arctic sea ice has been melting at a faster rate and this rapid loss denies the polar bears of their natural habitat and catching seals for food, the main source of their nutrition. Because of climate change and rise in temperature, the polar bears are deprived of valuable hunting and remain without food for weeks. Thus, this specialized animal is unable to rapidly adapt themselves to the climate change.

Suggest one advantage and one disadvantage of<br>using a dichotomous key to identify something.
prisoha [69]
Advantage: Dichotomous keys are very useful because they allow non-expert users to identify organisms by directing them to look at the known, important organisms. Disadvantage: Disadvantage of dichotomous keys is that if a single wrong decision is made at any juncture, a wrong identification will result. Sometimes it becomes obvious that an error has been made, and you can retrace your steps until you get back on the right track, but this is not always the case
