First, we have the ionic elements. This type of elements involved completely transferring of one ion to another in order to form a bond. There is also the type which forms the covalent bond which involves only sharing of the electrons. Those that exhibits the polar bonds and also the hydrogen bonding.

An element with an electronegativity of 0.9 bonds with an element with an electronegativity of 3.1 what phrases best describes t
Ahat [919]

Explanation:

According to the electronegativity table, whenever there a difference of more than 2.0 then the bond formed will be ionic in nature. On the other hand, if electronegativity difference is less than 0.5 then the bond formed will be non-polar covalent in nature.

As it if given that electronegativity difference of given elements will be as follows.

        Electronegativity difference = 3.1 - 0.9

                                                       = 2.2

Since, the electronegativity difference of given elements is 2.2. Hence, these elements will form an ionic bond.

Thus, we can conclude that mostly ionic in character and formed between a metal and non-metal best describes the bond between these elements.

mart [117]

Answer:

Each of these organelles performs a specific function critical to the cell's survival. For example, biochemical reactions in a cell's mitochondria transfer energy from fatty acids and pyruvate molecules into an energy-rich molecule called adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

According to the all-or-none principle, the thing that would happen if a cell were depolarized twice the amount needed to produce an action potential would be : Nothing would happen because the cell must be polarized to fire.

all-or-none principle stated that the strength by which muscle fiber respond to a stimulus is independent to  the strength of the stimulus.
