Y = 7x + 7<br> y = -7x + 19<br><br> Solve the system algebraically.
shtirl [24]
Hello,

To this question, It's only directly sum the equations:

y + y = 7x - 7x +7+19

2y = 0x + 26

2y = 26

y = 26 ÷ 2

y = 13

Now only to replace y = 13 in the equation of up or of down.

Then stay:

y = 7x + 7

13 = 7x + 7

7x = 13 -7

7x = 6

x = 6 / 7

A superintendent of a school district conducted a survey to find out the level of job satisfaction among teachers. Out of 53 tea
frez [133]

Answer:

b. 1.15

Step-by-step explanation:

The z statistics is given by:

Z = \frac{X - p}{s}

In which X is the found proportion, p is the expected proportion, and s, which is the standard error is s = \sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}

Out of 53 teachers who replied to the survey, 13 claim they are satisfied with their job.

This means that X = \frac{13}{53} = 0.2453

She find that the proportion of satisfied teachers nationally is 18.4%.

This means that p = 0.184

Standard error:

p = 0.184, n = 53.

So

s = \sqrt{\frac{0.184*0.816}{53}} = 0.0532

Z-statistic:

Z = \frac{X - p}{s}

Z = \frac{0.2453 - 0.184}{0.0532}

Z = 1.15

The correct answer is:

b. 1.15

Given the parent function of f(x) = x^4, what change will occur when the function is changed to -f(1/2x) ?
Studentka2010 [4]
We are given with a function equal to f(x) = x^4. When the function is changed to -f(1/2x), the function changes to -f(1/2x) = (1/2 x)^4 equal to (-1/16 x^4). The graph of the function should be opening the opposite way and has  a narrower plot. answer is C
