Answer:

B.109.5

Explanation:

Bond angle :This is the angle between the two bonds present in the atoms or molecule.

Answer:

Check Explanation.

(Check last paragraph in the explanation section)

Explanation:

Normally, the expected bond angle of the compound that is SF2 should actually be around 98° and it had the same bent geometry just like water. The hybridization of the central atom which is sulphur is Sp3. If the sulphur and Fluorine p- orbitals overlap and the two Fluorine atoms causes repulsion we should have around 98° bond angle for SF2.

The bond angle of water is around 104.5° and the interesting part is that oxygen which is the central atom of H2O is smaller than sulphur in SF2. So, we can just say the ideal bond angle for SF2 should be around 109.5°.

So, if we are to choose from this option the most correct option is that of option B which is 109.5°. But, assuming we have 98° in the options you should go for the 98°.

A solution of acetic acid has a pH of 3.45. What is the concentration of acetic acid in this solution? Ka for CH3COOH is 1.8×10-
Serjik [45]

Answer:

0.007 M

Explanation:

pH is defined as the negative logarithm of the concentration of hydrogen ions.

Thus,

pH = - log [H⁺]

The expression of the pH of the calculation of weak acid is:-

pH=-log(\sqrt{k_a\times C})

Where, C is the concentration = ?

Given, pH = 3.45

So, for CH_3COOH, K_a=1.8\times 10^{-5}

3.45=-log(\sqrt{1.8\times 10^{-5}\times C})

\log _{10}\left(\sqrt{1.8\cdot \:10^{-5}C}\right)=-3.45

C = 0.007 M

solong [7]

Answer:

Extensive properties, such as mass and volume depend on the amount of substance present and are not useful in the identification of a substance. In this experiment, we will use three properties to identify a liquid substance: solubility, density and boiling point.
