Number from 1 through 50. 50 possible numbers.
multiple of 10 : 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. 5 possible events.
multiple of 4: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48. 12 possible events
one-digit number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. 9 possible events

P(multiple of 10) = 5/50 or 1/10
P(not 100) = 50/50 or 1
P(not a multiple of 4) =  38/50 or 19/25
P(one-digit number) = 9/50

Now suppose that the manufacturer decides to accept the shipment if there is at most one defective part in the sample. How large
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

hello your question is incomplete below is the missing parts of the question

answer : K = 80

Step-by-step explanation:

P [ x ≤ 1 ]  < 0.1

determine how large k have to be

note : n = k

sample proportion = 0.01

E = 0.05 - 0.01 = 0.04

applying this formula below

E = Z_{c} \sqrt{\frac{pq}{n} }

0.04 = 1.645 \sqrt{\frac{0.05*0.95}{n} }    make n subject of the equation

n = 80.3353

hence  the value of K ≈ 80

Choose SSS, SAS, or AA to prove<br> the triangles are similar.<br><br> A. SSS<br> B. SAS<br> C. AA
Shkiper50 [21]
<h2><u>Question</u> :</h2>

Choose SSS, SAS, or AA to prove the triangles are similar.

A. SSS

B. SAS

C. AA

<h2><u>Answer</u> :</h2>

As, all sides are given so we can use SSS to prove the triangles are similar.

So, correct option is A.

<h2><u>Explanation</u> :</h2>

<h3>Given : </h3>

  • Sides of 1st triangle = 24, 32 and 40
  • Sides of 2nd triangle = 27, 36 and 45

<h3>To Prove :</h3>

  • Triangles are similar

<h3>Proof :</h3>

As, all three sides are given so let's check ratio of all three sides.

1. \tt \cancel{\dfrac{24}{27}} = \dfrac{8}{9}

2. \tt \cancel{\dfrac{32}{36}} = \dfrac{8}{9}

3. \tt \cancel{\dfrac{40}{45}} = \dfrac{8}{9}

As, all sides are in equal ratio.

So, by SSS

∆1 ~ ∆2

Nataliya [291]

Answer:

b•h/2

12.8•9/2=57.6

area of the triangle is 57.6

12.8•18.5=236.8

area or rectangle is 236.8

the total area is 57.6+236.8=294.4

I hope this right
