A container has 3 apple juice boxes, 4 grape juice boxes and 5 orange juice boxes. Alex picks one juice box, drinks it and then
Eduardwww [97]

Hey!

Grape over total: \frac{4}{12}

After he drinks 1, there will be 1 less. That means it will be over 11

Orange over total: \frac{5}{11}

Now multiply the fractions

\frac{4}{12} \times \frac{5}{11} = \frac{20}{132} \rightarrow \frac{10}{66} \rightarrow \frac{5}{33}

That means the probability is: \frac{5}{33}

Good luck and hope this helps! :)

Tickets to a football game cost $15.00 each including tax and a bag of popcorn cost $2.25 and a soda cost $1.75 Xavier has $350.
adoni [48]

Answer:

18 (full answer: 18.4210526316)

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>I LOST MY ANSWER RIGHT WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO FINISH DUE TO BRAINLY ROBOT DETECTION  </em>

This question seems incomplete. I dont know the tax, and what he wants to do with the $350, so I'll just work without them.

I'm going to assume that he wants to buy extra tickets, popcorn, and soda with the extra money.

1. add $15, $2.25, and $1.75

2. 15.00+2.25+1.75= 19.00

3. divide 350 by 19

350/19= roughly 18.42

So, Xavier can buy 18 tickets with food and drinks.

Quin made three and four sevenths jugs of sweet tea. She sold two and one third jugs at her sweet tea stand. How much sweet tea
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:\frac{23}{21}\ \text{Jugs of tea}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Quin made three and four seventh jugs of sweet tea i.e. 3 \frac{4}{7}=\frac{3\times 7+4}{7}=\frac{25}{7}\ jugs

She sold two and one-third jugs i.e.   2 \frac{1}{3}=\frac{2\times 3+1}{3}=\frac{7}{3}\ jugs

Remaining tea= \frac{25}{7}-\frac{7}{3}=\frac{24\times 3-7\times 7}{21}\\

=\frac{72-49}{21}=\frac{23}{21}\ \text{Jugs of tea}
