Answer:

Explanation:

The atomic weight of H2O is 18, 18g of water is 1 mole of H2O. 1 mole of any substance contains 6.023 x 10 23 number of atoms. The atomic weight of NH3 is 17 so 17g of NH3 contains 6.023 x 10 23 atoms. 340g of NH3 contains 20 moles of NH3.

90g of H2O is 5 moles of H2O, so there are 4 times as many molecules of NH3 as there are molecules of H2O.

The answer is NH3

Hope this helps

Answer:

atomic mass ( N =14 , H = 1×3 that means 14+3=17

340gram×17gram / mole

=5780mole

atomic mass ( H= 1×2 ,O= 16 =16+2 =18

90gram×18gram /mole

=1620mole

I think 340g ammonia (NH3)

Calculate the reaction quotient Qp for the following redox reaction: 14H+ + Cr2O72- + 6Cl- ----> 2Cr3+ + 3Cl2 + 7H2O The reac
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Value of Q_{p} for the given redox reaction is 1.0\times 10^{-8}

Explanation:

Redox reaction with states of species:

14H^{+}(aq.)+Cr_{2}O_{7}^{2-}(aq.)+6Cl^{-}(aq.)\rightarrow 2Cr^{3+}(aq.)+3Cl_{2}(g)+7H_{2}O(l)

Reaction quotient for this redox reaction:

Q_{p}=\frac{[Cr^{3+}]^{2}.P_{Cl_{2}}^{3}}{[H^{+}]^{14}.[Cr_{2}O_{7}^{2-}].[Cl^{-}]^{6}}

Species inside third braket represent concentration in molarity, P represent pressure in atm and concentration of H_{2}O is taken as 1 due to the fact that H_{2}O is a pure liquid.

pH=-log[H^{+}]

So, [H^{+}]=10^{-pH}

Plug in all the given values in the equation of Q_{p}:

Q_{p}=\frac{(0.10)^{2}\times (0.010)^{3}}{(10^{-0.0})^{14}\times (1.0)\times (1.0)^{6}}=1.0\times 10^{-8}

Identify and explain the process shown below. Name any two products obtained during this process and state their uses.
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

This is heating limestone

Explanation:

Process:

limestone is heated strongly. After a while, the limestone begins to go cloudy. Test tube is heated too much that it is beginning to  soften it. After removing limewater, test tube cools down, the pressure in the test tube drops and air pressure pushes the cold the liquid into the hot test tube with terrible result.

Products:

Limestone is also known as calcium carbonate and Limewater

Which of the following measurements is equal to 2.3 dL?
Verdich [7]
2.3 dL = .23 liters. d=deci=10^-1 so you move the decimal place back once.

It's D because micro is 10^-6 (move the decimal place back 6 times) 230,000x10^-6=.23 liters or 2.3 dL.
