The answer to your question is Gallium, or GA. The trick is to always check if they are along the same vertical column. This indicates that they have the same Valence electrons, which is involved in all the bonding and define the electronegative status of the atom.

Remark

I can't understand why this was reported. It's a perfectly straight forward question, unless someone recognized it as part of a test.

I know that the answer is supposed to be Ga, but in many ways Boron resembles Carbon than it does Ga. Be that as it may, the answer you want is Ga.

Name two solid liquid and gaseous element at the normal temperature and normal press
ure
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

Solid: calcium and potassium

Liquid: mercury and bromine

Gaseous: oxygen and fluorine

Explanation:

Matter exists in three different states namely: solid, gaseous and liquid. Elements that are found in nature are classified as matter. Since, these elements are grouped as matter, they can either be found as either solids, liquids or gases at normal temperature and pressure.

At normal temperature (20°C or 293K) and pressure (1 atm), the following elements are found to exists in the respective state of matter:

Solid: Calcium (Ca) and potassium (K)

Liquid: Mercury (Hg) and bromine (Br)

Gaseous: Oxygen (O) and fluorine (F)

A student weighs out a 7.24 g sample of , transfers it to a 300. mL volumetric flask, adds enough water to dissolve it and then
velikii [3]

The molarity of the zinc chloride solution will be 0.089 M

Molarity

Mole of 7.24 g ZnCl2 = 7.24/136.286 = 0.5312 mol

Total volume of water used in preparing the solution = 300 + 300 = 600 mL

Molarity of the solution = mole/volume = 0.5312/0.6 = 0.089 M

The molarity of the zinc chloride solution is, therefore, 0.089 M
