Answer:

false

Explanation:

Hot spot volcanoes occur far from plate boundaries. Because the hot spot is caused by mantle plumes that exist below the tectonic plates, as the plates move, the hot spot does not, and may create a chain of volcanoes on the Earth's surface.

Carbon is returned to atmosphere by processes like respiration, decaying and burning. It's absorbed from atmosphere by processes like photosynthesis.

Explanation:

Carbon cycle is a diagramatic approach to explain how the mass of carbon is distributed in our atmosphere, biosphere and earth, and how the cyclic processes run to exchange the carbon mass between themselves.

As far as the pool is concerned, carbon is present as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Its from where the carbon is taken from, or is deposited into. Carbon dioxide is given off into atmosphere by means of respiration. Its contributed by each and every living creature which are aerobic and take in oxygen releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Next process is decaying of organic matters by bacteria and other microorganisms which release carbon dioxide into air. The third process is burning of fuels which releases carbon dioxide and Carbon monoxide into air.

There are several processes by which carbon dioxide is absorbed into the system from atmosphere. One and the most important of them is photosynthesis. This process absorbs carbon dioxide to produce glucose and other organic matters that are then consumed by the whole biosphere as food.

In response to high amounts of phosphate transport into the cell: a. PhoR is phosphorylated by the phosphate transporter protein
storchak [24]

Answer:

e. PhoU keeps PhoR bound to the phosphate transporter protein Pst

Explanation:

PhoU is a membrane protein known to regulate the transport of phosphate (Pi) between cellular compartments. It has been discovered that mutations in this protein cause lethality because the cell becomes incapable of controlling the intracellular levels of  Pi, this being toxic for the cell. PhoR is a histidine kinase/phosphatase. When the Pi level is considered to be a limiting factor, PhoR autophosphorylates at a histidine residue and then donates its phosphoryl group to PhoB. On the other hand, when the Pi level is high, this protein removes the phosphoryl group from phospho-PhoB. Finally, the Pst is a signal transduction protein that acts as a transporter capable of switching its conformation during the transport of PI.

How is the lysosome able to merge with the englufed food without releasing its enzymes into the rest of the cell? Explain.
victus00 [196]
___________________________

Answer: As we know that the digest excess or worn out organelles, food particles, and engulfed viruses as well as bacteria. The membrane surrounding a lysosome prevents the digestive enzymes inside from destroying the cell. So, lysosomes fuse with vacuoles and dispense their enzymes into the vacuoles, digesting their contents.

How are the Earth's crust and humans the most similar according to these graphs? a The largest percentage of both is oxygen. b S
Lelu [443]

Answer: Option (a) is the correct option that is largest percentage of oxygen is present in both earth's crust and human body.

Explanation: Oxygen is present in large amounts both in earth's crust and human body. The percentage of oxygen in earth's crust is 46.6% and the percentage of oxygen in the body is about 66.6%. So it is concluded that both human body and earth's crust have high percentage of oxygen.
