The regular price is 5 for $2.95. One can is $2.95/5 = $0.59. Three cans are $1.77. With the $1 rebate, the final price would be $0.77 for 3 cans, $0.25 per can.

Geometry Help ! Look at the picture
OLEGan [10]

Pyhtaorean theorem says a² + b² = c²

a² + 7² = 25²

a² + 49 = 625; subtract 49 from both sides

a² = 576; square root both sides

a = 24

The perimeter is the distance around the figure, so 7 + 24 + 25 or 56

Write the matrix equation as a system of linear equations without matrices. [Start 3 By 3 Matrix 1st Row 1st Column 1 2nd Column
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

x-2y-4z=8\\5x-4y+7z=5\\-7x+5y+2z=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the matrix equation below:

\left(\begin{array}{ccc}1&-2&-4\\5&-4&7\\-7&5&2\end{array}\right)\left(\begin{array}{ccc}x\\y\\z\end{array}\right) =\left(\begin{array}{ccc}8\\5\\-3\end{array}\right)

We are required to write the matrix equation as a system of linear equations without matrices.

\left(\begin{array}{ccc}1&-2&-4\\&&\\&&\end{array}\right)\left(\begin{array}{ccc}x\\y\\z\end{array}\right) =\left(\begin{array}{ccc}8\\&\\&\end{array}\right)$is equivalent to: x-2y-4z=8

\left(\begin{array}{ccc}\\5&-4&7\\&&\end{array}\right)\left(\begin{array}{ccc}x\\y\\z\end{array}\right) =\left(\begin{array}{ccc}&\\5\\&\end{array}\right)$ is equivalent to: 5x-4y+7z=5

\left(\begin{array}{ccc}&\\&\\-7&5&2\end{array}\right)\left(\begin{array}{ccc}x\\y\\z\end{array}\right) =\left(\begin{array}{ccc}&\\&\\-3\end{array}\right)$ is equivalent to: -7x+5y+2z=-3

Therefore, we have the system of equations:

x-2y-4z=8\\5x-4y+7z=5\\-7x+5y+2z=-3

What is the degree measure of x in this triangle?
Crank
So this is trig, and when it comes to right (90°) triangles, it's imperative that you know:
SOH-CAH-TOA

Sine (x) = Opposite/Hypotenuse
Cosine (x) = Adjacent/Hypotenuse
Tangent (x) = Opposite/Adjacent

*hypotenuse is always the largest side, and the one opposite the 90° angle in right triangles

therefore we'll use SOH, because the opposite of x (O) and the hypotenuse (H) are given:

Sine (x) = Opposite/Hypotenuse
Sine (x) = 32/58 = 16/29 = 0.552
Sine (x) = 0.552
now we use something called arc-sine, or
{(sin)}^{ - 1}
it's basically a fancy function of most advanced calculators, so we'll plug it in as:
x =  {(sin)}^{ - 1} (0.552)
x = 33.49° --> answer B) is correct
