The charge of an e- is 1.60217657×10^-19 coulombs I.e. A very small number!
So 1 coulomb is much much bigger than the charge of an electron.

Which statement correctly compares speed to velocity?
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

B. <em>Speed</em> is how fast an object is moving: speed = distance/time.

<em>Velocity</em> is the rate at which an object changes position: velocity = displacement/time

Explanation:

<em>Distance</em> is a <em>scalar </em>quantity. It has only <em>magnitude</em>. So, distance/time is also scalar. If you are travelling at 100 km/h, that is your speed, because you could be going in any direction.

Displacement is a <em>vector </em>quantity. It has both <em>magnitude and direction</em> So, displacement/time is also a vector. If you are travelling east at 100 km/h, that is your velocity, because you are stating both your speed and the direction

2. Ultraviolet radiation has a frequency of 6.8 x 10'5Hz. Calculate the energy, in
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

E=4.5\times 10^{-18}\ J

Explanation:

It is given that, the frequency of Ultraviolet radiation is 6.8\times 10^{15}\ Hz

We need to find the energy of the photon. The formula for the energy of a photon is given by :

E=hf\\\\\text{Where h is Planck's constant}\\\\E=6.63\times 10^{-34}\times 6.8\times 10^{15}\\\\E=4.5\times 10^{-18}\ J

So, the energy of the photon is 4.5\times 10^{-18}\ J.
