The answer is -40.

In order to get this answer you must first subtract 4 from -36, if you know the rules of integers then the next step will be easy. Finally once you subtract it you will get -40.

Hope it Helps :]

4 + y = -36

Subtract 4 on both sides

y = -36 - 4
y = -1(36+4)
y = -1(40)
y = -40

Consider the sequence of steps to solve the equation:
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

Division Property of Equality

Step-by-step explanation:

→In Step 4, it is shown that the equation is:

3x = 30

→However, to solve for x, you must get it by itself. This means you need to get rid of the 3 that's being multiplied. So since the 3 is being multiplied to x, you must do the opposite of multiplication, which is division.

→As you can see, the total of 30 is decreased in Step 5, since it has been divided by 3, giving you a total of 10.

This shows that the property of equality that yields Step 5 is the <u>Division Property of Equality.</u>

PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!!!!!!!!!
IgorLugansk [536]

The equation of the sin function is y = 3sin(πx/2) + 1, and the graph of the function is shown in the picture.

<h3>What is sin function?</h3>

It is defined as a function that is sinusoidal in nature, and it has a domain of all real numbers and lies between the [a, a]where is the amplitude of the function.

As we know the sin function is represented by:

y = Asin(Bx) + C

Here,

A = The amplitude  =  3

C = The vertical shift  = 1

B - The period in terms of π

B = 2π/amplitude

B = 2π/4

B = π/2

The becomes:

\rm y = 3sin(\dfrac{\pi }{2}x)+1

Thus, the equation of the sin function is y = 3sin(πx/2) + 1, and the graph of the function is shown in the picture.
