The next step is to remember the last number of the last sound and then the emt should indicate or write the systolic and diastolic which will indicate the blood pressure of the person that is being taken. After noting the blood pressure, it is already advisable to remove the stethoscope and the cuff from the arm of the person that has been taken blood pressure.
