One disadvantage of spreadsheet is Vulnerable to fraud. Many company losses billion-dollars due to Fraudulent manipulation in company excel.  The reason behind this spreadsheet vulnerability is lack of controls, which makes it so easy to alter formulas , values or dependencies without being detected. Another disadvantage is Susceptible to trivial human errors. Sometimes you may missed negative signs and misaligned rows may sound harmless.

A car turns a certain curve of radius 24.98 m with constant linear speed of
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

3525.19 kg

Explanation:

The computation of the mass of the car is shown below:

As we know that

Fc = m × V^2 ÷ R

m = Fc × R ÷ V^2

Provided that:

Fc = 34.652 kN = 34652 N

R = Radius = 24.98 m

V = speed = 15.67 m/s

So,

m = 34652 × 24.98 ÷ 15.67^2

 = 3525.19 kg

A sound source is moving at 80 m/s toward a stationary listener that is standing in still air (a) Find the wavelength of the sou
Setler [38]

Answer:

a. wavelength of the sound, \vartheta = 1.315\vartheta_{o}

b. observed frequecy, \lambda = 0.7604\lambda_{o}

Given:

speed of sound source, v_{s} = 80 m/s

speed of sound in air or vacuum, v_{a} = 343 m/s

speed of sound observed, v_{o} = 0 m/s

Solution:

From the relation:

v = \vartheta \lambda        (1)

where

v = velocity of sound

\vartheta = observed frequency of sound

\lambda = wavelength

(a) The wavelength of the sound between source and the listener is given by:

\lambda = \frac{v_{a}}{\vartheta }         (2)

(b) The observed frequency is given by:

\vartheta = \frac{v_{a}}{v_{a} - v_{s}}\vartheta_{o}

\vartheta = \frac{334}{334 - 80}\vartheta_{o}

\vartheta = 1.315\vartheta_{o}                (3)

Using eqn (2) and (3):

\lambda = \frac{334}{1.315} = \frac{1}{1.315}\frac{v_{a}}{\vartheta_{o}}

\lambda = 0.7604\lambda_{o}

A 4.9-MeV (kinetic energy) proton enters a 0.28-T field, in a plane perpendicular to the field. Part APart complete What is the
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

r=1.14m

Explanation:

\theta is the angle between the velocity and the magnetic field. So, the magnetic force on the proton is:

F_m=qvBsen\theta\\F_m=qvBsen(90^\circ)\\F_m=qvB

A charged particle describes a semicircle in a uniform magnetic field. Therefore, applying Newton's second law to uniform circular motion:

F_m=F_c\\qvB=F_c(1)

F_c is the centripetal force and is defined as:

F_c=m\frac{v^2}{r}

Here v is the proton's speed and r is the radius of the circular motion. Replacing this in (1) and solving for r:

qvB=\frac{mv^2}{r}\\r=\frac{mv^2}{qvB}\\r=\frac{mv}{qB}

Recall that 1 J is equal to 6.242*10^{12}MeV, so:

4.9MeV*\frac{1J}{6.242*10^{12}MeV}=7.85*10^{-13}J

We can calculate v from the kinetic energy of the proton:

K=\frac{mv^2}{2}\\\\v=\sqrt{\frac{2K}{m}}\\v=\sqrt{\frac{2(7.85*10^{-13}J)}{1.67*10^{-27}kg}}\\v=3.06*10^{7}\frac{m}{s}

Finally, we calculate the radius of the proton path:

r=\frac{mv}{qB}\\r=\frac{1.67*10^{-27}kg(3.06*10^{7}\frac{m}{s})}{1.6*10^{-19}C(0.28T)}\\r=1.14m
