  • Misusing company time
  • Abusive behavior by researcher in field work.

If water is leaking from a certain tank at a constant rate, is it leaking at a rate that is greater than 12 liters per hour?(1 l
Margarita [4]

Answer:

Yes  it is possible because 3.33 is greater than 2.

Explanation:

Given that,

1 liter = 1000 milliliters

Suppose water is leaking from the tank at a rate that is greater than 2 milliliters per second.

We need to change the unit in ml/s

12 lit/hr=\dfrac{12000}{3600}

12 lit/hr=3.33\ ml/s

Hence, Yes  it is possible because 3.33 is greater than 2.

What will be the density of the air if the radius of the cylinder is halved while the length is unchanged?
pickupchik [31]

If the radius of the cylinder is halved and length is kept unchanged then the density of air inside the cylinder will increase.

As it can be said that density is inversely proportion to the square of the radius.

Density of Cylinder

Density is the ratio of mass to volume.

The formula for density is: ρ= m/v.

The formula for the Mean Density of a cylinder is:

                                         ρ= m/ (π•r²•h)

where:

ρ is the density of the cylinder

m is the mass of the cylinder

h is the height of the cylinder

So, with increase in radius the of the cylinder there is decrease in the density of cylinder.

And on decreasing the radius of the cylinder there is increase in the density of the cylinder.

As it can be said that density is inversely proportion to the square of the radius.

How is an appliance's power related to the amount of energy it uses?
zysi [14]
The more powerful an appliance is, the more amounts of energy it uses. For instance a jack hammer that does not create a lot of destruction or change does not use a lot of energy. If a jack hammer that creates a lot of destruction and change probably uses a lot more energy and makes more sound.

Pls helppppp my last question!
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

load

a generator, a light bulb (load) and a closed switch

Explanation:

as explained in the other question, the fan is using generated electric energy to create mechanical movement. as such it is a load on the grid or circuit or net.

and electric power can only flow, if there is a closed (uninterupted) circuit from the power source to a load and back.

any open switch is an interruption of the circuit.

a buzzer is a kind of switch. it closes the circuit (and puts a load on) only when somebody presses it.

by the way, a closed circuit without a load will "destroy" (short circuit) the power source or at least the wires (burn through).
