HURRY STRANGERS PLEASE I REALLY NEED THIS!!! A paper manufacturer is evaluating their packing procedures. Currently, they packag

e twelve reams of paper in a box—in three stacks of four reams. However, their company has been getting complaints from the retail stores that the box is too large and heavy for the average consumer to carry by their self. So, they have decided to reduce the weight of each box by ten pounds. You have been asked to explore the different packing options based on the new weight condition and present your recommendation to the CEO of the paper company.
Identify three unique ways to package the paper given the new weight condition. Include both the dimensions of the new boxes, as well as a verbal description of how the reams will be packaged. You may include sketches if you wish.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Base on my own understanding what should be done is that three stacks will not work, because it wont be a symmetric arrangement and also one will be left out. So, two stacks of five each would be better and easy to carry. But the stacks should be arranged in such a manner that the lengths will be parallel to each other and not in-line which would increase the length making it comparatively very long. its easier to hold a (2*8.5,11,2*5=17,11,17) compact box, because it will be easy to carry a long and not heavy.

Find the solutions to the equation below. check all that apply
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

A and E

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

20x² - 26x + 8 = 0 ( divide through by 2 )

10x² - 13x + 4 = 0

Consider the factors of the product of the coefficient of the x² term and the constant term which sum to give the coefficient of the x- term.

product = 10 × 4 = 40 and sum = - 13

The factors are - 5 and - 8

Use these factors to split the x- term

10x² - 5x - 8x + 4 = 0 ( factor the first/second and third/fourth terms )

5x(2x - 1) - 4(2x - 1) = 0 ← factor out (2x - 1) from each term

(2x - 1)(5x - 4) = 0

Equate each factor to zero and solve for x

2x - 1 = 0 ⇒ 2x = 1 ⇒ x = \frac{1}{2} → E

5x - 4 = 0 ⇒ 5x = 4 ⇒ x = \frac{4}{5} → A

A package is 15.5 inches long, 8.25 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high. What is the volume of the box? Enter your answer, rounded
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer: 703.3125 in cubed

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula to find the volume of something is to…

1. Find the area of the base! Remember, area is length x width. In this case we would have 15.5 x 8.25 = 127.875

2. Multiply the base area we just found by the height! In this case, we take 127.875 x 5.5 and this gives us 703.3125 as our final answer!
