A couple of different ways to solve this.

Build ratio 5/4
Multiply by 2/2 to get equivalent, which is 10/8 - this does not match any possible solution.
Now do 5/4 * 3/3 to get 15/12. This works, so the answer is 15 peach fruit chews/12 plumb fruit chews.

Trial and error method.

How do you find the rate of change
olga_2 [115]
If it's for a graph then I believe you just find the slope which you can do by taking two points and plugging them into this equation y-y
/
X-X

Example: (2, 4) and (6, 7) the first number is always x and the second is always y so if you plug those in the equation would look like this....

4-7
/
2-6

That would end up being
3
- ---- aka the rate of change
4

if a sequence is defined recursively by f(0)=4 and f(n+1)= -3f(n+1)=-3f(n)+1 for n≥0, then f(3) is equal to? DESPERATELY NEED HE
muminat

f(3) is equal to -101.

Step-by-step explanation:

 • The sequence is followed by f(0)=4
 • The given expression is f(n+1)= -3f(n)+1

Put n=0,

f(0+1)= -3f(0)+1

f(1)= -3(4)+1

f(1)= -12+1 = -11

Put n=1,

f(1+1)= -3f(1)+1

f(2)= -3(-11)+1

f(2)= 33+1 = 34

Put n=2,

f(2+1)= -3f(2)+1

f(3)= -3(34)+1

f(3)= -102+1

f(3)= -101
