Please help i’m stuck!! FIND GE AND FJ HE = 6 FE= 8

Mathematics

6 0

Answer:

GE=10

FJ=5

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that in a traingle

a^{2}+b^{2}  =c^{2}

a=HE=6

b=FE=8

Once we enter it into the equation, we find that we get

36+64=100

The square root of 100=10

GE=HF so HE=10.

Half of HE(10) is FJ(5)

Hope this help :)

I don’t know how to do that
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide 64 by 8 to get 8. this is 1/8 of the books.

3/8 were non fiction, or 24

1/4 (2/8) were picture books, or 16

5/8 were non fiction or picture books, so ’the rest‘ of the chapter books is 3/8.

3/8 were chapter books, or 24.

add the amount of picture books and chapter books since they are the fictional texts.

16+24=40

subtract the amount of non fictional books from the amount of fictional books to get the sum.

40-24=16

Please help Slove for x
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

x = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

These angles are consecutive interior angles, so when added they will equal 180 degrees (according to the consecutive interior angles theorem).

3x - 10 + 5x + 30 = 180          add/subtract all like terms

8x + 20 = 180

8x = 160

x = 20  <--- This will be your answer

Hope it helps!

12 + r = 3 <br> how do i solve this?
antoniya [11.8K]
You’d have to try to get r on one side of the equation.
You can do that by subtracting 12 from both sides which would make it so
R = -9
