The formula for the circumference is C=2piR (r is radius)

If the flagpole is in the center and it's 15 feet to the edge, that means that 15 feet is the radius. Draw it out, you'll see. Now you plug 15 into the formula, either use a calculator or don't, and solve. You will get
94.2 as your circumference.

C=pi times Radius squared

First input what you know which is C=3.14x15x15
Multiply 15 times 15 which equals 225, so now you have C=3.14x225
Multiply 3.14x225 which gives you the circumference which is 706
So C=706.5

Which expression is equivalent to log2 9x^3?
marishachu [46]

Answer:

Option 1 - \log_{2}(9 {x}^{3} )=\log_{2}(9 ) +3 \log_{2}( {x} ) - log Subscript 2 Baseline 9 + 3 log Subscript 2 Baseline x

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Expression \log_2(9x^3)

To find : Which expression is equivalent to given expression ?

Solution :

Expression \log_2(9x^3)

Applying logarithmic property, \log_{a}( MN ) = \log_{a}( M) + \log_{a}( N )

\log_{2}(9 {x}^{3} ) = \log_{2}(9 ) + \log_{2}( {x}^{3} )

Using property, \log_{a}( { M}^{n} ) =n \log_{a}( { M})

\log_{2}(9 {x}^{3} )=\log_{2}(9 ) +3 \log_{2}( {x} )

i.e. log Subscript 2 Baseline 9 + 3 log Subscript 2 Baseline x

Therefore, option 1 is correct.

Alicia had -11$ in her checking account she did a few chores and made 44.50$ she she decided to pay for her and a friend to go t
Nitella [24]
Answer: $21 left in her checking account

Explanation: She has $-11 in her account already then she gets $44.50 so you would do $-11 + $44.50= $33.50, then you would multiply $6.25 by 2 because she took her friend with her so that means 2 tickets, that would mean $6.25 * 2 that would get you $12.50 then you would subtract $33.50 from $12.50 to get your answer of $21
