Suppose we know nothing about magnetic field but that magnets have two poles. Suppose we have three magnets A, B, and C each with two poles so A1, A2, etc. Now we do an experiment. We put A1 in front of B1 and they attract each other then we do this between A1 and C1 and they attract each other too. Now if same poles were to attract each other then A1, B1, and C1 should have been the same and B1 and C1 should also attract each other but then we see they don't.

If Sarah melts 10g of tin. What mass of melted tin would she have at the end of the experiment?
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

10g

Explanation:

As the Law of Conservation of Mass states that " Mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in a chemical reaction".

Though melting of tin isn't a chemical change, the same logic is applied here...

Hence,

The mass of tin will be 10 g itself...

A geosynchronous satellite orbits above the equator of Earth in a circular orbit, remaining in a fixed position with respect to
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

Explanation:

The relation between orbital period T and orbital radius R is as follows .

T² ∝ R³

T ∝ R¹°⁵

So time period of orbit is proportional to radius of orbit . Higher the height , larger the orbital period . As the orbital period is larger than required , the altitude of satellite must have been larger than required .

As mass of satellite  is not involved in the formula of orbital period , this is independent of mass of the satellite .

Hence the option C is correct .
