Answer:

Unimodal Distribution

Mode = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the data of hours that 9 students spend on the computer on a typical day:

1, 6, 7, 6, 8, 11, 6, 12, 15

Sorted data: 1, 6, 6, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 15

Mode is the most frequent observation in the given data.

Here, 6 repeats itself most frequently that is 3 times. No other observation repeats itself three times.

Thus, the mode of the data is 6.

Since, there is a single mode for the given data, the distribution of students is unimodal.

Vadim26 [7]

Complete question :

A chef at a restaurant uses 12 pounds of butter each day. About how many grams of butter does the chef use each day? use the conversion factors 16 oz/1 lb and 28.35 grams/1oz

Answer:

5,424 grams

Step-by-step explanation:

To convert using the conversion factor :

Number of pounds of butter * (16 oz/1) * (28.35) /1

Hence,

12 * 16oz/ 1 * 28.35/1

(12 * 16 * 28)

= 5,424 grams

sergey [27]

Answer:

12. 6.4

13. 20

Step-by-step explanation:

This is the Pythagorean theorem, which says a^2+b^2=c^2. So for problem 12 we have 4^2+5^2=c^2. Since, 16+25=41, c=sqrt41 which is about 6.4. For problem 13 we have 15^2+b^2=25^2. Since 25^2-15^2=400, b=sqrt400 which is 20. Hope this helps!

Find the selling price. Explain how you solved the question. I might mark you as brainliest!
polet [3.4K]

Wow !  Now THERE's an incentive !  I'm just glad I got in
early enough so that there's an answer block left open.

If you should happen to glance at these three problems,
you'll notice that they're all the same problem, just with
different numbers.  So if somebody showed you how to do
ONE of them, you'd know how to do ALL of them.

1).  Markup = 10% of $50 = 0.1 x $50 = $5
       Selling price = ($50 + $5)  =  $55 .

2).  Markup = 60% of $80 = 0.6 x $80 = $48
      Selling price = ($80 + $48)  =  $128 .

3).  Markup = 25% of $140 = 0.25 x $140 = $35
      Selling price = ($140 + $35)  =  $175 .
