Then you add 9 plus 1.34 and you get 10.34 and after that you do 5.25 and 10.34 and that equals 15.59  then u take the 1/2 and add that and in total you get 16.09 sample answer was...  Sample Response: First, add the decimals in the parentheses. What is the value of 6(2b-4) when b =5
Sindrei [870]

Answer: The value of 6(2b-4) is 36.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given expression: 6(2b-4)

To find the value of 6(2b-4) at b= 5, we need to substitute the b=5 in the expression, we get

6(2(5)-4)\\=6(10-4).......[\text{solve parentheses}]\\=6(6)\\=6\times6=36

\\\Rightarrow6(2(5)-4)=36

Therefore, the value of  6(2b-4) is 36, when b=5.

antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

W = 6t + 90

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Starting weight = intercept = 90 kg

Weight gained after 8 months = 138 kg

Using the slope intercept relation ;

We can obtain the rate of change, slope ;

y = mt + c

m = slope ; t = time after t months ; c = intercept

y = weight gained after 8 months

138 = 8m + 90

138 - 90 = 8m

48 = 8m

m = 48 / 8

m = 6

Hence, slope intercept equation equals :

W = 6t + 90
