Which equations are equivalent to 1/5 + 2/3 |2-xl = 4/15? Check all that apply.
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

(2 - x ) = 1 / 10

Step-by-step explanation:

1 / 5 + 2 / 3 (2 - x ) = 4 / 15

Subtract 1 / 5 from both sides

2 / 3 (2 - x ) = 4 / 15 - 1 / 5

2 / 3 (2 - x ) = 1 / 15

Multiply 3 / 2 on both sides

(2 - x ) = 1 / 15 * 3 / 2

(2 - x ) = 1 / 10

How do I do this math problem can you please help me solve it
Gnom [1K]
First, multiply 1/2 and 2 by 6 to simplify the equation. Then, subtract 12 from both sides of the equation to get x alone. Finally divide both sides of the equation by 3 to get x on it's own. That is your solution. X=-2/3 I attached a picture of my work. Hope this helped!

SOMEONE, PLEASE HELP QUICK Which statement about solving inequalities is true? Adding the same value to both sides of an inequal
TiliK225 [7]

The very first statement is true. No need to worry about the rest!

Try it out. If you have 9 cups and I have 6... and we both take 3 more... now you have 12 and I have 9. You still have more.

If I have 10 dollars in the bank and you have 5 and we both add -3 to our account by paying a monthly fee - I will have 7 and you will have 2. I have five more than you in both examples.

Adding the same amount to both sides does not change the solution.
