Cost for something=how many you are bying times how much each cost

cost for total of small ballons=x times 2 or 2x

cost of total of big ballons=y times 3 or 3y

total is costsmall+costbig=2x+3y

so
TC=2x+3y

if you have 11 small and 5 big (x=11 and y=5), what is TC?
input
TC=2(11)+3(5)
TC=22+15
TC=37

total cost is $37

If angle P is a right angle and angle P and Q from a linear pair, then angle Q is
anygoal [31]
< P is a right angle.....a right angle is 90 degrees.
< P and < Q form a linear pair....a linear pair, when added, = 180 degrees

so if < P is 90.....and when added to < Q = 180...
90 + Q = 180
Q = 180 - 90
Q = 90 <== so < Q is also a right angle...measures 90 degrees

A flipped coin landing heads up and rolling a 5 or 6 on a number cube
Vladimir [108]
The probability would be 1/6 if the number cube is six-sided and the coin is normal.

First, we will find the probability of the landing on heads with the coin.This would be 1/2 because you have two sides that it could land on and one side you want it to land on.

Next, we will find the probability of getting a five or six with a number cube. This would be 2/6 or 1/3 because there are 6 sides it could land on and two with one of the numbers you want.

Finally, you multiply the two probabilities. 1/3 times 1/2 equals 1/6.

Hope this helps! Have a great day!
