Answer:

Explanation:

Given data:

A) Moles of H₂O₂ = 7.00

Mass of H₂O₂ = ?

Solution:

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass

Now we will rearrange this formula:

Mass = Number of moles × molar mass

Mass =  7.00 mol × 34 g/mol

Mass = 238 g

B) Moles of NaOH = 5.60 mol

Mass of NaOH = ?

Solution:

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass

Now we will rearrange this formula:

Mass = Number of moles × molar mass

Mass =  5.60 mol × 40 g/mol

Mass = 224 g

C) Moles of Ca(CN)₂ = 0.780

Mass of Ca(CN)₂ = ?

Solution:

Number of moles = mass/ molar mass

Now we will rearrange this formula:

Mass = Number of moles × molar mass

Mass =  0.780 mol × 92.11 g/mol

Mass = 71.85 g

In which of the following substances do you find strong hydrogen bonding?
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

The strength of an individual H bond depends on the polarity of the H-X bond and therefore on the electronegativity of X ( the more delta positive the H atom, the stronger the electrostatic force of attraction between it and a lone pair of electrons). Thus, on a per bond basis, HF H bonding is strongest. However, as water has two H atoms, each molecule can form two H bonds so on a per molecule basis, water H bonding is strongest (this is evidenced by the boiling points of the three substances; NH3 < HF < H2O.)

How many electrons do the elements of the most stable group have in their outer energy levels?
ehidna [41]
If they are the most stable, it must mean they have a full outer shell. the first shell can only hold 2 so if it only has 2 electrons then it is pretty stable. all other shells after that can hold 8 so if it has 10,18,26,34,42 and etc electrons, it will be stable as well.

hope this helps!
