Answer:

124.26g

Explanation:

Diameter = 1.80 , length (h) = 4.12 , density = 11.4

Density = mass / volume

Volume = area x height

Area = #d2 ➗ 4

Where #(pi) = 3.142

Area = 3.142 x 1.80 square ➗ 4

Area = 10.2/4 = 2.6

Volume = area x height

Volume = 2.6 x 4.2=10.9

Density = mass / vol

Mass = density x vol

Mass = 11.4 x 10.9

Mass 124.26g

Which step ONLY occurs in the formation of coal?
quester [9]

"Decaying swamps are covered with seawater" step ONLY occurs in the formation of coal.

Option: B

Explanation:

Coal production continues in regions of swampy wetlands because groundwater is near to or just above the topsoil. Because of this, organic matter is created quickly by the flora present-faster even than it can be broken down. Layers of organic matter are deposited in these areas, and then buried.

Based on the plants and circumstances present, the mechanism that produces coal varies somewhat in various areas but the ultimate method is similar. Coal production has two primary phases: peatification, and coalification. It is a solid black, readily combustible fossil fuel containing a large quantity of carbon-based material-about 50 percent of its mass.

Gemiola [76]

Answer:

the physical and chemical properties of the products are different from the reactants

Explanation:

A chemical reaction involves the chemical combination of two or more elements/compounds called Reactants to give one or more different elements/compounds called Products. A chemical reaction occurs in such a way that the atoms of the reactants are restructured to form product(s) that is/are entirely different from the reactants.

In a chemical reaction, the physical and chemical properties of the products differ from that of the reactants since different chemical compounds/elements are formed as products. The physical properties of a substance, which include colour, melting and boiling point etc. will differ in the reactants and products formed. Also, the chemical structure and identity of the reactants will be changed to give rise to a different chemical property in the products.

In which orbital does an electron in a bromine atom experience the greatest effective nuclear charge?
asambeis [7]

First let us determine the electronic configuration of Bromine (Br). This is written as:

Br = [Ar] 3d10 4s2 4p5

Then we must recall that the greatest effective nuclear charge (also referred to as shielding) greatly increases as distance of the orbital to the nucleus also increases. So therefore the electron in the farthest shell will experience the greatest nuclear charge hence the answer is:

4p orbital
