These points were the fundamental basis of the Baroque, once this period was extremely religious, but also a moment in history when science and the thought was in development, a heritage from the Renaissance. Descartes, Spinoza and Leibinz are traditionally considered as Rationalists philosophers. Each one of them believed that our knowledge born with us (Innatism).
