45% female cats get worms.

It’s sad.

But on to the answer

Infestation depends on the type of worm, but most often, cats get worms by coming into contact with eggs or infected particles in feces. “They step in the feces and then ingest them when grooming themselves.

If force remains the same, and the mass of an object increases, what happens to the acceleration?
baherus [9]

Answer:

Decreases

Explanation:

Force= mass * acceleration

If the mass increases but force stays the same then the acceleration would have to decrease to maintain the same force

Andy (mass 80.0 kg), Randy (mass 60.0 kg), and twins Candy and Mandy (each with a mass of 70.0 kg) climb into a 1000.-kg car, ca
PolarNik [594]

To solve this problem we will apply the relationship between Newton's second law and Hooke's law, with which we will define the balance of the system. From the only unknown in that equation that will be the constant of the spring, we will proceed to find the period of vibration of the car.

We know from Hooke's law that the force in a spring is defined as

F = kx

Here k is the spring constant and x the displacement

While by Newton's second law we have that the Weight can be defined as

F = mg

Here m is the mass and g the gravity acceleration.

The total weight would be

F = (80+60+70)(9.8)

F = 2058 N

Each spring takes a quarter of the weight, then

F_s = \frac{2058}{4} = 514.5N

Since the system is in equilibrium the force produced by the weight in each spring must be equivalent to the force of the spring, that is to say

F_s = F

\frac{1}{4} mg = kx

514.5N = k(0.04)

k = 12862.5kg \cdot m/s^2

The period of a spring-mass system is given as

T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{M}{4k}}

The total mass is equivalent as the sum of all the weights, then replacing we have that the Period is

T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{1000+80+60+70}{4( 12862.5)}}

T = 0.9635s

Therefore the period of vibration of the car as it comes to rest after the four get in is 0.9635s

When encountering a powerboat in darkness or reduced visibility, what do visible white and red lights indicate?.
MakcuM [25]

A visible white and red light indicate a second craft is coming from the starboard (right) side.

What is a navigation light?

A navigation light often referred to as a running light or position light, is a source of illumination aboard a ship, plane, or spacecraft that provides information about the location, course, or condition of the vehicle. Red and green navigation lights help with traffic control by indicating the orientation of the craft.

All navigation light systems typically comprise one or more white lights as well as red and green sidelights that designate the boat's port and starboard sides.

Having a flashlight on board is also essential since you never know when a navigation light may go out.

The typical navigational lights:

Sidelights: Because they are visible to other vessels approaching from the side or head-on, these red and green lights are sometimes known as combo lights. The port (left) and starboard (right) sides of a ship are indicated by the red and green lights, respectively.

sternlight: Only from behind or almost behind the ship can one see the sternlight.
