This is because successful characteristics survive and reproduce.
Adaptation is both an evolutionary process and a result of natural selection, it is the process of evolution in which traits are modified by natural selection. It is a phenotypic trait that is moulded by natural selection such that organisms with successful characteristics survive and reproduce.

Why does increasing the amount a greenhouse gas increase the temperature of a planet?
krok68 [10]
Green houses gases like CO2, water vapour and methane, these gases traps heat in its structure, this is same like glass house in which infrared waves can only enter but after entering the waves will become polarisezed it will prevent waves going out and hence increrasing the temperature

Select the correct answers.
diamong [38]

Answer:

decreases, increases, minimum (zero)

Explanation:

Kinetic energy of a body is directly proportional to the square of velocity of the body and the potential energy is directly proportional to the height  of the body at which it is placed.

The formula for the kinetic energy is

K = 1/2 m v^2

The formula for the potential energy is

U = m g  h

As the body goes up its kinetic energy decreases as the velocity of the object decreases.

As the body goes up the potential energy increases as the height increases.

At the top most point, the velocity of teh object is zero, so the kinetic energy at the top is zero.
