I will try to name as much as I can :

• Magnets
• Butter
• Petroleum
• Using a spherical object leaves the surface with very little surface area, basically using balls will help alot
• Using a hockey table leaves you with not friction at all when on

The watermelon is heaviest, followed by the soccer ball, golf ball and ping pong ball. How does the weight of an object relate t
Illusion [34]

Answer:

It doesn’t really relate

Explanation:

heavier load the parachute must be moving faster to match the downward force of the greater load

and approx terminal velocity when the parachute is open

velocity for Ping pong ball with parachute = 9m/s

velocity for Soccer ball with parachute = 15m/s

velocity for Golf ball with parachute =24m/s

velocity for Watermelon with parachute = 25m/s

so weight of an object doesn’t really realted how fast it falls with a parachute

Which hypothenical scenerio would you result in the moon not having dofferent phases? A.The moon takes twice as long as it does
maw [93]
<span>The hypothetical scenario that would result in the moon not having different phases would be t</span>he moon always stays in one position relative to the earth and sun. Why? If the moon didn't have an phases it would stay in one position. Phases mean change, and if you observe the moon every night, you'll see how it changes; it repeats, so thus it's a pattern.

So, your correct answer should be: <span>D.The moon always stays in one position relative to the earth and sun.</span>

Bats use sound to sense objects by sending out short ultrasound pulses and listening for the echo off the object. A. Sketch the
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:

B. t = 0.250s

Explanation:

A. An image with the sketch of the bat emitting a sound, which reflects on a surface and return to the bat is attached below.

B. In order to calculate the time that the pulse emitted by the bat, return to the bat, you first calculate the time that pulse takes to arrive to the object.

You use the following formula:

x=vt      (1)

x: distance to the object = 43m

t: time = ?

v: speed of sound beat = 343 m/s

You solve the equation (1) for t:

t=\frac{x}{v}=\frac{43m}{343m/s}=0.125s

The time on which the bat hears the echo is twice the value of t, that is:

t'=2(0.125s)=0.250s

The time on which bat heart the echo of its sound, from the moment on which bat emitted it, is 0.250s

A 4.4 kg object is being pushed along a surface, causing it to accelerate at a rate of 1.5 m/s2 . Th e coeffi cient of kinetic f
emmasim [6.3K]
Friction = 0.25 * m * g = 10.8
Push = m * a + Friction = 4.4 * 1.5 + 10.8
