She would have to buy two sets of 100 copies. (200 copies)
23 * 2 = $46
Sales tax : 46 * 0.08 = $3.68

ALL together : 46 + 2.68 = $48.68

Answer:

She must buy 200 copies, 2 sets of 100.

Total payment=$49,68

Step-by-step explanation:

She plans to send resumes to 123 schools in her county, as the local printer only sells set of 100,  she must  buy 2 sets

She must pay:

Set of 100,  each $23

She need 2 ,  so is $23 x 2=$46

Taxes=$46*8% =$3,68

Total payment= $46+$3,68=$49,68

the 2nd term in a geometric sequence is 20 the 4th term in the same sequence is 45/4 or 11.25 what is the common ratio?
lbvjy [14]
Let x be the common ratio and y be the 3rd term

11.25/x=y     This means the fourth term divided by the common ratio will get the third term
20x=y           This means the second term multiplied by the common ratio will get the third term

11.25/x=20x        Set the two y's equal to each other, and solve for x!
20x^2=11.25
x^2=.5625
x=+-√.5625
x=.75 or -.75

Drinking 8 fluid ounces of milk provides 270.0 milligrams of calcium. How many fluid ounces of milk provide 72.5 milligrams of c
Margarita [4]
Set up a proportion:

\frac{8}{270} = \frac{x}{72.5}

The numerator represents fluid ounces of milk, and the denominator represents milligrams of calcium.

Simplify the first fraction to make multiplication easier:

\frac{8}{270} \div  \frac{2}{2} =  \frac{4}{135}
\frac{4}{135} = \frac{x}{72.5}

Cross multiply the fractions:

72.5 * 4 = 290
135x = 290

Divide both sides by 135 to get x by itself:

290 \div 135 = 2.1
x = 2.1

2.1 fluid ounces of milk provide 72.5 milligrams of calcium.

What is the minimum number of points that could be moved to make the parallelogram a<br> rectangle?
scoray [572]

Answer:

2

Step-by-step explanation:

If we have the length and the breadth of a rectangle then we can draw a unique rectangle because we know already that all the vertex angles are equal to 90 degrees. Hence, only two measurements are required.
