x is the number of weeks I've had the account, then y is the amount in the account. Find an equation of a line in the form y = mx + b that describes my grocery account balance.

Answer:

y= -90x+250

Step-by-step explanation:

From the information given, the equation would be that the amount in the account would be equal to -90 that is the amount you withdraw from the account each week multiply for x that is the number of weeks plus $250 that is your initial balance:

y= -90x+250, where

y= amount in the account

x= number of weeks.

Anwar says that the shape below is a parallelogram. is he correct that a kite is a parallelogram explain
My name is Ann [436]
Short answer: No afraid not.

Opposite sides of a parallelogram must be equal and parallel. The opposite sides of a kit are neither. To make sure you understand, measure the upper left side and the lower right side. The upper left is shorter than the  lower right (even though these sides are opposite one another).

It you extend the upper left line upward and do the same thing to the lower right,  you will get two lines that meet. No parallelogram will do that.

Is the statement below always,sometimes,or never true? Give at least 2 examples to support your reasoning. The LCM of two number
melisa1 [442]

Answer: Never true. 24 times 12 is 288, however the LCM for them is 3. 8 times 20 is 160, however the LCM for them is 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you look at it by the fact that every number has a LCM of 1, and every even number has an LCM of 2, it is easy to take that and apply it to this question. Just factor in the numbers.
