To simplify this, write out: 32/36. Then divide the numerator and denominator by a common factor.
Because they are both even, I would choose to multiply them both by 2.
That would equal 16/18. 
Then you can divide them both by 2 again. You would get 8/9.
There are quicker ways to do this, but I chose this way because I find it easiest.
