Answer:

The new acceleration would be 9 m/s².

Explanation:

Acceleration of an object is 6 m/s²

Net force is equal to the product of mass and acceleration i.e.

F = ma

a=\dfrac{F}{m}\\\\\dfrac{F}{m}=6\ m/s^2

If the net force was tripled and the mass were doubled, it means,

F' = 3F

m' = 2m

Let a' is new acceleration. So,

a'=\dfrac{F'}{m'}\\\\a'=\dfrac{(3F)}{(2m)}\\\\a'=\dfrac{3}{2}\times \dfrac{F}{m}\\\\a'=\dfrac{3}{2}\times 6\\\\a'=9\ m/s^2

So, the new acceleration would be 9 m/s².

A vehicle in for repair has a burst upper radiator tank. Technician A says thermostat that was stuck in the open position could
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

Technician B

Explanation:

A thermostat being stuck in an open position allows coolant to constantly circulate through the radiator which will cause a drop in the temperature of the engine. Hence, thermostat being stuck in an open position has nothing to do with burst upper radiator.

On the other hand, a radiator cap controls the pressure within the radiator which needs to be kept constant in order prevent overheating or damage to the radiator itself.

Therefore, technician B is correct.

lys-0071 [83]

Answer: the maximum heigth of the stadium at ist back wall is 151.32 ft

Explanation:

1. use the position (x) equation in parobolic movement to find the time (t)

565 ft = [frac{176 ft}{1 s\\}[/tex] * cos (35°)  * t

t= 3.92 s

2. use the position (y) equation in parabolic movement to find de maximun heigth  the ball reaches at 565 ft from the home plate.

y= [[frac{176 ft}{1 s\\}[/tex] * sen (35°) * 3.92 s] - \frac{32.2 ft/s^{2} *3.92 s^{2}  }{2}

y= 148.32 ft

3. finally add the 3 ft that exist between the home plate and the ball

148.32 ft + 3 ft = 151.32
