Which value for x makes the sentence true?
PolarNik [594]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{1}{40}  + x =  \frac{1}{8}

40( \frac{1}{40})  + (40)x = 40( \frac{1}{8} )

1 + 40x = 5 \times 1

1 + 40x = 5

40x = 5 - 1

40x = 4

\frac{40x}{40}  =  \frac{4}{40}

x =  \frac{1}{10}
