Well, we know she has 48 paintbrushes, and we know that she puts 8 on each table.
You would divide 48 by 8 and you would get 6.
Therefore, she has 6 tables.

Since there are 48 brushes and 8 paintbrushes on each table, divide 48 by 8 to get 6

The black dot is on 49 inches.

Now find the vertical distance f the black line at horizontal 230: This is on 47.5.

The difference between the two is : 49 - 47.5 = 1.5

This is a pre calculus question that I need help with, serious answer PLEASE and thank you! Will give brainliest.
IRISSAK [1]

The wording of this question is a bit confusing... You can't write a sequence in sigma notation, but rather a series or sum. I think the question is asking you to write the sum of the sequence,

\dfrac12,\dfrac14,\dfrac18,\ldots,\dfrac1{64}

which would be

\dfrac12+\dfrac14+\dfrac18+\cdots+\dfrac1{64}

in sigma notation.

To do this, notice that the denominator in each term is a power of 2, starting with 2^1=2 and ending with 2^6=64. So in sigma notation, this series is

\displaystyle\sum_{n=1}^6\frac1{2^n}
