The coordinate of D is (1,1).

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The coordinates of the square are A(1,5), B(5,5), C(5,1)

To find the the coordinate of D

Formula

We know that the diagonals of a square bisects each other.

And mid point of any two coordinates (x_{1} ,y_{1} ) and (x_{2} ,y_{2} ) will be  \frac{x_{1}+x_{2}  }{2} ,\frac{y_{1}+y_{2}  }{2})

Let,

O be the mid point of diagonal AC

So, coordinates of O is (\frac{1+5}{2} ,\frac{5+1}{2} ) = (3,3)

Hence, O is also the mid point of diagonal BD.

Let, coordinates of D is (x,y)

According to the formula

\frac{5+x}{2} = 3 and \frac{y+5}{2} = 3

or, 5+x = 6 and y+5 = 6

or, x=1 and y=1

So,

The coordinate of D is (1,1).

This represents an arithmetic progression with the first term of a = 15 and common difference of d = 3.

<u>The tenth row is the 10th term:</u>

  • aₙ = a + (n - 1)d

<u>The row 10 has:</u>

  • a₁₀ = 15 + 9*3 = 15 + 27 = 42 seats

Chin canned a number of quart jars and a number of pint jars of tomatoes from his garden. A pint is 16 ounces and a quart is 32
daser333 [38]

We have two variables p and q that need to be found.

p = # of pints

q= # of quarts

16p+32q=1280

- you do not jump into looking for the answer to each variable as it is asking for an equation not to find what p and q is
