We can do this by just adding 14 to 14 until we get a number that is divisible by 10.  We can do it this way because it will be a small number.  Let's list them out.  14, 28, 42, 56, 70.  70 is divisible by 10, so 70 is the answer.

The least common multiple of them both (10 and 14) would be 70!
Now to break it down a little for the people in the back -
10's least common multiples go a little like this.. 60, 70, 80- etc.
While 14's least common multiples are 56, 70, 84, etc.
Which number is in common ? 70! (:
I hope all is well, and you pass! Good luck, rockstar!

What is the rule for the following geometric sequence? 64,128,256,512...
professor190 [17]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

The explicit rule for a geometric sequence is

a_{n} = a₁ (r)^{n-1}

where a₁ is the first term and r the common ratio

Here a₁ = 64 and r = \frac{a_{2} }{a_{1} } = \frac{128}{64} = 2 , then

a_{n} = 64 (2)^{n-1} → B

What is the slope of a line whose graph is parallel to the graph of -3x+y=2?
liq [111]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

if the lines are parallel they have the same gradient.

rearrange the equation to make y the subject and then use the m value as gradient.

-3x=2-y

-3x-2=-y

y=-(-3x-2)

y=3x+2

therefore m=3

slope is 3
