9 1/2+ 1 1/2=?
We have to check if their denominators, or bottom numbers, are the same.
Both of their denominators are 2, so all we have to do it add!
First, we'll add the whole numbers, which are 9 and 1.
9+1=10 so the whole number is 10.
Then we'll add the numerators, or top numbers, together.
1+1=2 so the numerator is 2.
We don't add the denominators though, because the denominator ALWAYS stays the same.
So your answer is going to be 10 2/2=11

First, you want to make them into irregular fractions.

Separate them into two parts:

Part one: 9 1/2; Part two: 1 1/2

Part one:
9 x 2 = 18, 18 + 1 = 19, so 9 1/2 = 19/2

Part two:
1 x 2 = 2, 2 + 1 = 3, so 1 1/2 = 3/2

Then add part one and part two:

19/2 + 3/2 = 22/2

Then divide 22 by 2 to get the answer

22 / 2 = 11.

horrorfan [7]

Answer:

39 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

We want an angle  x  such that   0 < x < 360   and angle x is coterminal with an angle of measure 399 degrees.

so   x =  399 - 360 = 39 degrees

Calcula el volumen en metros cúbicos de una piscina que tiene 8 m de largo 2 m de ancho y 1.5 m de profundidad
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

V = 24 m³

Step-by-step explanation:

The given question says that, 'Calculate the volume in cubic meters of a pool that is 8 m long, 2 m wide and 1.5 m deep'.

A pool is in the shape of a cubiod. The volume of the cuboid is given by :

V = lbh

Where

l is length, b is width and h is height

Put all the values,

V = 8 × 2 × 1.5

= 24 m³

So, the volume of the pool is equal to 24 m³.
